The Consilia et Narrationes, also known as the Story of Harald, contains a Byzantine account of Harald III Sigurdsson’s entrance into the Byzantine Empire. Since the most fascinating and relevant part of Harald's career take place in the Byzantine Empire the Consilia is an extremely important primary source and has been used extensively in the mapping portion of this project.
