Harald III Sigurdsson is one of the most famous Vikings in all of Medieval history. Therefore, in order to study him properly Snorri Sturluson’s Heimskringla has been tapped. Snorri’s work has its pitfalls but is by far one of the most valuable primary sources available to the Viking scholar.
