  • Aberth, much like Hoffman and Mead, is an important secondary source for understanding the Scandinavian environment. While he is not specfically focused on the north, he still spends some time discussing its unique climate and several of his points help to illustrate how difficult and challenging the terrain was to agriculturalists.
