Data Visualization
Data visualization focuses on using visuals (networks, graphs, charts) to communicate information. The data visualization aspect of this project continues to utilize the Bulletins as its primary source (see the Text Analysis page to read about that source). The two sections, network visualization and elimination charts, both explore the eliminations requested within the Bulletins. A network visualization is a graph that displays nodes and edges, illustrating connections between data. To create this network visualization a site called Palladio, developed at Stanford University, was utilized. For the elimination charts the research was completed using Google Sheets to compile the information and create the visualizations.
